Sometimes simple is good

I love the G45 Voyage under the Sea papers from the
Scraps Of Darkness 'An Oceans Tale kit'

I wanted to let the awesome bright papers with fabulous designs speak for themselves so I created a simple but fun layout!

I started by layering my G45 paper

The patterns and colors are fabulous!
I created a cluster with flowers from the main kit, floral add on, and my stash.

The elements add on came with some wonderful Blue chipboard seashells!  I painted them with a paint pen from last months kit and added a pearl also from the elements add on.  I scattered a few pearls too!

Our son LOVES the beach so I selected this titled from the G45 chipboard!

Chillin at the Beach!

My family and I love going to beach....this months kit was perfect for all those beach photos I have!

Cody loves the beach as much as I do!
I started buy layering all the awesome bright colors from the Graphic 45 'Voyage under the Sea' papers from the Scraps Of Darkness 'An Oceans Tale Kit'
In the Elements add on is the Graphic 45 Chipboard!  The piece was perfect for my title!
also in the elements add on is some wonderful Blue Fern chipboard shells.
I treated each one differently....The blue shell I painted with Art-C Metallic Teal Heavy Body Acrylic Paint Tube from the main kit, the orange one I sprayed with Orange Dylusions mist from a previous kit then added some orange embossing powder.  The greenish one I used the Dylusions Vibrant Turquoise Ink Spray from the color add on.  I then outlined all of them with a white Dylusions Paint Pen also from the color add on.
The really cool shells were from the main kit and the Prima Finnabair Art Ingredients Melange Art Pebbles were from the elements add on
I added a some prills from a previous kit to my clusters too
The flowers are from the floral add on and main kit as is the Sensations Teal Lovebug Yarn

Beach time with SOD!!!!

My favorite place in the world is the beach....
So when I received the July Scraps Of Darkness
'An Oceans Tale Kit' I was so happy!
It is chuck full of yummy beachy papers and embellishments!

This first layout I created I used the awesome Graphic 45 Voyage Beneath the Sea papers!

I used flowers from the main kit, floral add on and some from previous kits!

I fussy cut the steampunk mermaid and the mermaid riding a fish and the octopus from the wonderful papers.  I added a splattering of pearls from the elements add on.

The title piece is from the Graphic 45 chipboard from the elements add on...and I just add a few pearls

I placed a doily from the main kit behind the photo to add more visual interest and fussy cut the frame from one of the G45 papers!
The little cutie jumping is my beautiful granddaughter!
