Cute Christmas Card - Krista Schneider relase - Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Every Christmas I feel under the gun to get all my Christmas cards done so this year I am challenging myself to get at least one done a month!
I would love for you to take part in my challenge too...
so show me those Christmas cards that you make this year!

So to make this cute card I cut the cardstock to 5x5, 3 1/2 x 3 1/2, a 3 3/4 circle and 2 1/2 x 2 1/2
I cut the wonderful ModaScrap 'It's Christmas Time' papers to
4 3/4 x 4 3/4, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 a 3 1/4 circle and 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.

I layered them all and adhered them together!

I stamped the sweet lady and the sentiment from the Gift Wrapped stamp and die set and colored her - which I want to get better at!

Memories - Joset Van De Burgt reveal for Elizabeth Crafts!

Good morning!
I love to make blooms and when I saw the wonderful little bloom dies from Joset Van De Burgt from Elizabeth Craft Designs!  Perfect for layering!

So to create this layout I die cut a lot of the large flower set and average flower set and the trio of leaves!

I inked the edges and cupped then layered them together
I layered three of the blooms per flower!

I love how they add dimension!
The chipboard frame was fun to alter!  I covered it with clear gesso then added some crackle paste, and then began layering three different colors of blue paint.  To finish I inked the edges to give it some definition!
For the title I used a die cut from ModaScrap then cut it in half then used the Joset 'memories' die for my title!

I am also entering this in the Scrap The Boys January Challenge - using flowers on a boy layout!

Dads are hero's - Creative Embellishments

Good morning!
Our boys are very close to their dad!  Tyler and Jon work outside together a lot - they really are a lot alike!

To celebrate their relationship I created this layout...

I started by tearing and layering the Kaisercraft papers then adhered them together

I love these Grunge Gear Corner - perfect for the photos I have of the guys working!

The bicycle chain frames were awesome for this layout....

For the grunge corner and chain pieces I misted in dark grey, then brushed in black paint and wiped some off, and added some light grey paint and some grey seed beeds!

For the brick pieces I painted in gesso, then some grey mist, then I took a Tim Holtz orange distress crayon and scribbled on a mat and sprayed some water and brushed it on, inked the edges in black and added some more seed beeds!

The title is from one of the strips you cut off the end of the paper...Tyler chose the title!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bright fun colors!

Good morning!
I don't normally work with bright fun colors but sometimes I am grabbed by a sheet of paper or something will catch my eye and I have to have it!  thats what happened with the 'Just Say Cheese' ModaScrap papers available at Elizabeth Craft Designs!

I started by layering two of the sheets of paper then I die cut various sizes of paper using the Stitched Rectangles die.

All these layers add visual interest and dimension.

One of the sheets of papers from the Just Say Cheese papers has great titles, accents and journaling boxes.
I HATE cutting out circle accents... they always look wonky BUT
there is this great die from Elizabeth Crafts called Stitched Circles!  PERFECT size for cutting out accent pieces!

Now I LOVE to add pops of color to add visual interest and focal points!  I used the red cardstock from the Soft Finish cardstock - Classic and cut out one size bigger than the accent pieces to add the pop!

Thanks for stopping by.

Elizabeth Crafts - Becky Seddon new releases

Good morning!
I really enjoy working with warm tones of papers....earthy and shabby really help get my creative juices flowing!

These handsome guys are our son and my hubby....
Ty and Jon have a wonderful relationship....Ty is always willing to help his dad and Jon loves having him around.  They are a lot a like....

For the title & pocket watch I used the die - 'Take Time for you' and cut them from the Maja Designs papers then inked them.  I added the pearl to center of the hands and letter stickers to suit my layout.

I cut three balloons of various sizes using the Vintage Ballon Race Die and added a few pearls and ink

My first project for Elizabeth Craft Designs!

Good morning!

I love making shabby chic cards with lots of layers.
The gorgeous Wood Effect Papers from ModaScrap was perfect to create a shabby card

To start I created my base card using the Soft Finish Cardstock 8.5" X 11" 230gr /85Lb 10 pack then used the Flowers Lace Frame die.  I inked all the edges and parts of the cut outs to add dimension and visual interest.

My next step was to use the Dashing Squares Die, ink and distress the edges.  I layered each piece and added some cord and pearls.

I used the True Love Die for the title that I cut twice so I could create a shadow effect.

I always create a pretty inside of my cards...I continues using the flowers and lace die and the true love die.  Ready for a but of sentiment!
